VMW is hiring and I guess those who applied before they found out about the acquisition are now quite discouraged. Who would come here now after hearing the news of acquisition? I certainly would never apply to VMW at this point.

I'm currently not sales, but support sales.. I was looking and applying internally for a sales role pre acquisition news. So wondering if it might be a good idea to transition over to gain some sales experience... seems like no one external will apply, but why not get more pay and experience as an internal in the meantime?
