Yes, you should be paid out for unused vacation. One thing to point out on severance if you rare getting into the details is you have to pay both sides of the social security tax (usually the employer pays half).
What about vacation days? Do we get paid for those?
Generally 1 week for every year. After 15 years 2 weeks. There is a minimum but I'm not sure what that is. Also pay grade 17 and above is different.
It would be good to know if there have been any changes.
