I'm getting tired of having to deal with all the toxicity, politics, nepotism, bullying, and all the other usual cr-p that comes with working here. I know there has got to be a better alternative (or two) out there, but whatever company I start researching ends up having the same issues as we do. Is there something better or is our entire field fu---d?

: @5lel+1hAne5Sj - You are right on the money!! UHG, UHC and Optum is one big Sh1t Sh0w! I've had so many of my coworkers laid off that found better paying jobs and a healthy culture! I will NEVER refer someone to this he11 H0le. Trust me it's much better elsewhere!
I never encountered a workplace as toxic as UHC - it was the worst experience in my 20+ years of working in healthcare. It will be hard to find a place that’s as bad. Other places may have issues but you’ll be well equipped to handle them based on your experiences of dodging the backstabbing, lies, bullying, etc. I have yet to meet a single person who left UHC and said they had a positive experience. I’ve worked throughout the US, and would return to maybe 70% of my prior employers - I would never return to UHC again. Best of luck.
