I would also like to receive a package and then find something better. However, I still don't think it's a good idea to provoke the management in order to increase my chances of becoming a target, and I know several people who are doing exactly that.
Isn't it the stupidest thing to deliberately do the bare minimum or even less than that, in the hope of getting cut, that is, paid to leave?

Its clear schwab only cares about the shareholder and probably more pointed at top executive pay and power. 185 million dollar fine announced this week shows that they dont have the clients best interest in mind. As far as employees this whole board tells you all you need to know on that front.

Two years ago, I would've come down on any person who was expressing these kinds of thoughts, it's funny how working at a company that doesn't particularly care about its employees or clients can change your view.
I am proud to want to get laid. There is nothing wrong with that. I consider it getting lucky to get laid. Many at Schwab do as well. Good luck in getting laid.
It says a lot about the current culture of the company. But it speaks more about you and your career. If you’re waiting to be laid off, then you don’t care about your career. IMO
