Airbus Keeps Trouncing Boeing on Jet Orders

Ha ha ! Airbus is extending its already-sizable lead on aircraft orders. That will keep Boeing at a disadvantage for the foreseeable future. In short, Airbus is running circles around Boeing in the narrow-body jet market. That's where the vast majority of demand lies today, due to narrow-bodies' superior cost profile and improving range.

Wasn’t that long ago when the only orders airbus could get were because Boeing could not fill the order in the timeframe the airline needed the airplane. Now it’s just the complete opposite. All this happened in a short 20 year period.

I remember when Airbus first came on the scene as a competitor to Boeing and the Airbus CEO at the time stated “ are mission is to drive Boeing to its knees”. They are doing that now.

The “Order Competition” has nothing to do with Airbus being a great company
Instead it’s all about what a POS Company Boeing Is.
