Backroom coverage

Who works in the backroom on Saturday if the backroom Saturday associate is off? I thought ““receive it right” that a team lead, mgr or other trained associates were to fill in. Our club has one of the Sunday backroom associates work. Doesn’t seem right

“Receive it right” is a bunch of bull s**t. I’m currently the only BR associate during the day and get no help. When I come back to work after my two off days, I have to deal with days worth of returns and floor damages as well as fixing receiving errors from those two days off or an office full of fedex/ups boxes. Management doesn't care, H.O. Doesn’t care. But they sure are quick to ask why things aren’t getting done.

We have 3 backroom associate plus a merchandiser that works full time in the backroom at my club so there is at least 2 back there every morning.

They want everything to be perfect back there yet no help is given. But make sure to receive it right!

You are correct, with “Receive it Right” all Coach’s and Leads are suppose to know how to receive in merchandise when there are gaps in the area. But I can tell you in our club that it does not happen, There is maybe 1 or 2 Managers that are good at doing it, but leads and other managers, forget it.
