I was going to join Facebook/Meta back in July but things got complicated due to my immigration status, anyhow, my start date was changed and I am scheduled to start in late September.
I have been following all the chatter on mass PIPs and possible layoffs at Facebook/Meta and this is making me concerned.
Do you think there is possiblity that they will turn around and make my offer revoked or rescinded?
Facebook is in a really bad place right now. I’ve honestly never seen it this bad. I manage a team that is completely clueless about what is happening. They believe Biden is amazing, all voted for him except the H1b that said they would have if they could. Biden has destroyed this economy. Yet they are still blind.
