Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Just got laid off.

Solutions engineer, I was just told before I clocked out that my team is downsizing. I was offered a terrible ultimatum to stay with a pay cut and just took the layoff. Anyone else axed? I would love to say I am sad or mad but I actually feel very relieved after all the stress this company put me through recently.

I thought most of the software developers were contractors.. If that's the case it's pretty easy it's pretty easy to cut them. If they have any talent they should be able to find jobs pretty quickly.

I was separated due to the vaxx mandate. Having a bit of time off was great relief.
My advice: inflation is a disaster that is not going away. Do not delay in looking for alternate employment. Enjoy not having to deal with TMO nonsense anymore but be proactive and don't delay getting another position lined up.
How many people are getting laid off today?
