Macys is such a shady and unethical company that treats its longtime employees like trash. They are hiring new people at a much higher rate hourly than the ones that have been with the company for years. New hires getting offered more and they are giving raises to new people that have been with the company for only 1 year. Meanwhile we are getting the same and doing most of the work. Disgusting and shady management and company.

Yep, new people get hired at same or greater pay rate than current employees. Nothing new about that. Happens all the time over all industries; retail or an office job. So put together a case for more $.
Before COVID few of managers deported to individual contributors. They got around 25 % hike. Other hardworking and dedicated people got zero hike.
