Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

What are the leadership's biggest mistakes?

Nike is slowly becoming a bigger and bigger mess. Of course, the leadership will not be interested in feedback, but anyway, where do you think they are making their biggest mistakes right now? I would like this to be the company that I used to love working for once again.

All you got to do is look at JD's past and his record and you will know where Nike is headed. I company I grew up with , being born in Portland and lived in the area ever since, is not that company anymore. For JD to understand the sports buisness is like thinking 45 knew how to run a country.

Making this company a cult of personality dominated by men who make more $$$ than their female counterparts. The show horses fare far better than the work horses.

They forgot that the mission statement is to bring Innovation and Inspiration to every athlete* in the world. They went off the rails with a woke social justice mission instead, which unfortunately doesn’t sell product (especially when there’s not much product to sell that is worth buying). When Nike focuses on its product and sport its unstoppable. Sadly that no longer seems to be the focus.
