Thread regarding 7-Eleven, Inc. layoffs

I’ve worked for Speedway for 4 years now and I can’t believe how quickly this company has gone down hill. I work in a cafe store that hasn’t been inspected for food safety for months. We got an email a week ago that FIMS was going to resume inspecting us only to find out today they laid off all FIMS workers. I would not eat at any Speedway. Food dates are not getting checked! I just complained to a higher up that we were struggling to stay staffed and he told me to talk to our recruiter. Found out today they fired her! 7/11 has no idea what they’re doing and they’re running this company into the ground quickly. Recruiters, most of marketing, FIMS, and 40+ district managers are all gone and us employees are left to do all their jobs for slave wages
