They will cut both, they are using this as an opportunity to let go some people in Ford E. (1000's) so the Ford Blue talk is for the marketing ....

Model e is the absolute safest organization to be in Ford right now. Period. We have the best leadership in the company and the goal to be Ford's sole future in mobility and sales.
Ford Blue and everything ICE related are to be phased out of the company, eventually. It will take time, but it has already begun and the 8000 cuts are the kick start the company transformation needs.

There is a ton of hybrid WFH and work on-site. So, no, not all WFH will be cut. That said, the WFH has grown significantly with many never having been on-site lol. And for some reason, even if they ask for it, can't get badges printed. Wondering why?
I guess Ford knew all along they are temporary.
Core group WFH will be cut. EV and or ICE.
The cuts have nothing to do with EVs or ICE.
They are moving most of the Ford jobs elsewhere (cheaper countries) because they can.
EV investment was just a PR excuse for the naive public.
So ford blue has 8000 workers, and the cuts are all in ford blue, so everyone in ford blue is getting cut this week?

It doesn't matter, most of the cuts will come from the core group. Components that go on all cars... Door locks, brake modules,liftgate modules,seats... Ect.
Most of the work will go to full service suppliers.
