What’s fair severance pay if there wasn’t any WARN notice? DOL says 60 days in advance is a minimum for mass layoffs off more than 500 employees in a 6 month period. Without proper WARN notice to employees they should be paying minimum 60 days?

980 layoffs are what’s reported to the media. Anyone know what that actual number is?
The WARN Act is triggered when 50 people at a single site are laid off.
Do we know when our severance is going to get sent out?
The total (less than 900) was split nearly equally between Irving and Enon. WARN probably doesn’t come into play.
Correct. You should petition for 60 days but it might depend on what location you were termed from and whether or not that threshold was met.
