Mpls and Internet Network-losing customers , what’s next?

Most customers are moving off the vz mpls network. They are not replacing with vz internet circuits (last mile provider makes our pricing too high vs the competition and vz will not lower the margin. ) At some point there won’t be enough customers to support the cost of maintaining the both the mpls and internet networks right? Any input is appreciated

VZ finance is also a reason why the company is where it is. They basically run the company and refuses to understand the business. Our competition is under cutting us and gaining market share. They need to get their heads out of the spreadsheets. We have lost large deals because they won’t break this arbitrary margins even though it is naturally declining with subsidy. Finance is ki----g this company and a barrier to sales.

What happens when the number of customers on global vz mpls / internet network aren’t enough to support the cost to maintain to? Many have moved to other less expensive providers or are in the process.

After taking a package late last year, I can't tell you about the last 3 months, and i used to deal with the third-party last mile access, and the rates were extremely competitive so don't put that out as a cause. I know this because i worked many deals in rural areas with third party vendors. Mabe your PCM area is behind the times and needs to get cleaned out.
