This is all prep for layoffs. In typical Schwab fashion, they are making the poor souls targeted for layoffs to do the work. Job market is very good so why not leave with your head held high.
Maybe this is all for the new reality show 'Schwab's Got Talent?'
Each business area makes the decision on how low in their organization to send the email to for updating their talent profile. The talent profile is open to everyone but used in talent planning for succession planning.
58 in STS here. Never heard of such a thing.
I am a 55 in Advisor Services and received a request to complete the talent review. @3wci+1hX0SvrT

Subject line was: "Welcome to Talent Review - Complete Your Talent Profile by August 17".
It's a process in Workday where you give a career summary list your work history, work experience, education details, and if you are willing to relocate.
which email are we talking about... what is the subject line.
please let me know
Yes according to a managing director friend of mine MDs in certain Orgs are being asked to gather names of high salary employees that potentially can be let go. It's coming. Of course they will blame the economy, COVID and cost of integration. The reality is that Schwab is making as much money as ever. Constantly trying to cover their tracks on bad business practices and stale senior leadership. But at least walt and senior leadership got promotions and bigger bonus and stock allocation.
MD here. I didn't get it.
Seems like everyone got one.. I got the same email so did my manager.. Is this concerning? Confused I am fairly new(1 yr) at Schwab.
What I heard that everyone at specific level 58or 59) and up, got this email.
100% prepping for layoffs. The questions are very strategic. Topics include: relocation willingness, education history, and employment history. All of which seem suspicious as he-l.
