Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Outsourcing TOS to India

They already outsourced TOS support to India. Looks like they are migrating other parts of the company to India.

Does anyone know if this is how all banks are headed. It seems ridiculous for a bank called U.S. Bank to be replacing it's workforce with workers who are not located in the USA.

The bank will fail here. Local TOS workers have to fix what comes from offshore. Having no idea what was changed or why. Sucky job.

Several areas of CBB began outsourcing work in 2019. It will come back to bite them if we see another big recession. I see a few consent orders in the future.

The bank is very late to this party. Other companies have been doing this for decades. Replace hard working local employees with offshore contract workers. Doubt it will turn out well at the bank.

It's been happening here for years, ask the digital org / Cognizant.

Didn't stop American Express 10 years ago from outsourcing their customer support
