Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Changes you'd like to see

Maybe I’m just bored after almost seven years here, but still, I think GM needs some radical changes?

Wrap the cubicles in plastic body cladding and recognize top employees with an attachable tent.

No degree=works cheaper

They'll give you a mentor who'll teach you everything :-)

No degree? They’re copying Elon Musk years late usual. The PR people and executives can say this but if you get a job at GM, you probably won’t be working with them. You’ll be working with the people who are looking for any possible reason for saying that you are inferior.

In the news recently GM said it was looking past people not having a 4 year degree for positions.

I think this is propaganda, and they need to actually walk the walk and not just talk the talk!

So mentoring is frowned upon at GM? That’s just something people normally do.

If you know what you're doing you don't need a mentor to tell you what to do.

Stop backstabbing.

Have good people mentor other people.
