Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

New waves of people axed without warning

Heard they aren't even warning people that aren't going into the office, just outright termination. I assume they are still having hard time filling the quota for hires at the NJ office that one one wants to go to nor can they even afford to live in the area with what Fiserv pays.

I sorta feel sorry for any customers Fiserv tries to sell our services to. If only they knew what a sh-t show it was behind the scenes it is at the company that charges what we do. I've seen the bills some of our clients get. YIKES....

General layoffs you will find out day of that you are impacted. If you get notice it would most likely be one of the relocate or leave to give you the chance to move.

And to the other question. Usually on the day of termination unless a contractor.

Not surprised. I have seen colleagues in another company I worked for been given brutal terminations. One received a phone call advising him that NOW would be a good time to leave. Just like that. Another received a call and at least her manager came into the office to let her go 24 hours later. Nothing like caring management is there. To staff GET OUT NOW while you control your future.

Do you know in what BU, I keep thinking we are next but it's end of day and still no notifications. Are they only telling you on your last day or 1 or 2 weeks notice?
