Thread regarding Ford layoffs

This is all just too much for Farley and his C-suite

I think that's the root of the problem

Are you kidding me? I can come up with great plans to solve world hunger and peace. Doesn’t mean we have the means or know how to accomplish it.

Chris Farley could do a better job running the company from the grave.

“For all of Farley's bluster he is an EXTREMELY weird and awkward person.“

He is exactly the kind of person who his cousin lampooned, mocked, and ridiculed.

People saying that Farley is just a puppet because he reads from a teleprompter are thinking way too hard on this. The answer is a lot simpler and it's that he's incompetent in a lot of areas with speaking and communicating being a big one. For all of Farley's bluster he is an EXTREMELY weird and awkward person.

@1kjf+1hliA9ZD Easy with the Kool Aid and the brownnosing. I am sure you'd p-e yourself of emotion if Bill Ford or Jim Farley comes to talk to you. If you are not a manager yet, please apply ASAP because you have all the hallmarks of a Ford manager: clueless id--t willing to applaud bigger id--ts enthusiastically .

Listening to the C-suite talk, it reminds me of another conversation (a long time ago) with a multimillionaire ex employer of mine. He was saying to us (his workers) that after the first million, it is easy to get richer due to all the possibilities where to invest that million and he had a bunch of examples for it. However, when asked how to make the first million, he couldn't answer. Let's face it, most of us would love being millionaires, but we have no idea how to make it happen.

Well, it is the same for FMC. After we have quality and good designing in our production lines, it is easy to overtake any competitor. The problem is to make THAT happen and no C-suite has the faintest idea of how to do it. They just parrot their whishes, hoping that someone else has the answer. Coming with the right solution and how to apply it, that's the hard part, and no id--t (including Farley) can talk his way out of it forever.

I thought JF laid out the company's transformation plan brilliantly this morning. Do you negative forum participants here finally see how the plan will work and bring us to the forefront of mobility with solid financial footing? It's was clear to me.

Farley is not in charge. Whomever is in charge of the teleprompter is in charge.

Elon said it about Biden. Applies here too. His read from the teleprompter is as if he is reading what he is saying for the first time.
