Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Shady layoffs…zero transparency

I know multiple people who were laid off, computer access cut off same day without any chance to say goodbye or tell people they were laid off. In my area, it was done in multiple waves with a small number laid off each time and no announcement. They did eliminate a couple of teams entirely and we were told an announcement would be made but never came.

Extremely shady. I guess it’s gotten easier with WFH now that they’re attempting to eliminate positions without others catching on. If I didn’t work directly with these people, I would’ve never known or would have assumed they left for another job. I had a meeting with a couple people and received notice right before that their positions had been eliminated.

Shady shady shady….you can’t tell me they aren’t being evasive on purpose.

Wells Fargo gets a bad rap but even they were more transparent about RIF and sharing out planned reductions

Nothing new. Business as usual for at least the last decade. I remember employee being let go while on business travel.
