Think about it. If you were laid off or you are slated to be laid off you are getting paid to leave a company that has been a big mess for years. I know people fear recession but the job market is still really good, so finding a new position should not be an issue. Chances are, your new place of employment will be better than the old one since not much is worse than US Bank. I don't see any negatives here.

I don't know why people keep saying the job market is good. I haven't been laid off and have been merely apply elsewhere. Companies are not filling open jobs, aka hiring freeze. There was a national news story about companies rescinding offers after people already put in notice at their previous employer. Layoffs, hiring freezes, and cuts are happening everywhere, not just U S Bank.
