I have worked for this company for a very long time it has changed over the years that is for sure it is no longer a happy place to go to work u don’t know what or where you are going for the day and u can never complete a job that is assigned to u The new hours suck and sending employees to different areas is certainly is not good customer service it use to be a classy store and I find it is no longer that it is in chaos sadly 🫢🫢🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️😢😢

I agree to response about long term colleagues. My people leader has remind me and others that we have a lot of vacation time . That we should take our time soon and that we can’t hold anything for January. There are many reason some of us hold vacation time in January we just went through the holidays and inventory we need time offf. Do we question our people leaders when they are vacation or have a weekend offf.
Macy's will stoop so low to do anything to get rid of its tenured colleagues. They would rather have a revolving door for new hires with fewer hours and no benefits. Macy's doesn't care about the well being of colleagues with years of service. This company will reap what it sows.
Today after many years of dedicated service to this company, I was called on the carpet for telling the truth about the working conditions in our store. What a bunch of pa----s run this company. There is no leadership. True leadership welcomes "truth" they don't run from it. Their lack of spine is shameful. What is everyone so afraid of? Are there any adults left in the room? Macy's is circling the drain- nap time is over, put your blanky back in your cubbie and DO YOUR JOB: LEAD FROM THE FRONT. FIGURE IT OUT AND ACT. In a vacuum REAL LEADERS LEAD. They make a realistic plan using what they have at their disposal and the people they have to work with to achieve their goals. Leaders speak truth to their superiors, they don't cower in the corner, nodding their heads furiously at every stupid unattainable directive floated in their direction.
I think that’s what they want for all the old timers to quit so they can hire new people at less pay with less vacation time.
Enough is enough.
