For a very long time, with each new round of cuts, Fiserv has been signaling survivors that one should not even try to be one of the best employees here. I've noticed that some of the best ones are always on the cut lists. Very strange practice, isn't it? No wonder the company is sinking.

They always cut from the top and the bottom - top earners, those with the highest salaries and the bottom, those who, on paper, contribute the least. I say on paper because grading employees on a bell curve is an unfair business model. The executive team from First Data and now Fiserv sucks. (I am OFD)
So that is why they waited for the results of the "anonymous" survey.
Typically it is the low performers OR people who are negative or bring toxicity to the office. Those later people could be people who have higher pay.
I guess CEO Frank will be around a long time.
Probably because they earn more, is why the "best ones' are cut first.
