Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

The Welcome Rewards+emails begin

Is it misleading to show maximum benefits that only apply if the customer has the credit card?

Several B+ customers felt duped into switching programs and now 15% off.
Good job people. Making long term customers.

They reduced the discount to 15% off for welcome rewards +. Customers are not happy. I heard about it all day today like it was my fault.

We have heard nothing but positive feedback from our customers. They are very excited for getting rewarded for shopping with us. Win win for everyone!

ALREADY getting complaints online today that people signed up for TWENTY percent off and the company is pushing the transfer to 15% plus “rewards”. People are beginning to see we are EVIL and horrible to deal with. This is another step in the sinking ship (that and reducing hours!)

I see bankruptcy and some id--t buying the website to redesign it. The rest of us are out of jobs!! 🙁😩😳 plan accordingly.

there's some aspects of it that are ok, assuming they actually work (i'm assuming there'll be all kinds of issues like every other aspect of our 'technology'); having the free option that still accrues points isn't a bad idea for example. i think having 4 different rewards amounts is gonna confuse and irritate our customers though: 10 for free, 50 for plus, i think it's like 60 or 70 for just the credit card, and 100 for credit and plus....that's a little unnecessary, lol

i also wonder if the myfunds expire, as we like to do; 'oh after you hit 5000 pts, wait 2 to 7 days for the 5 bucks, and then you have 33 and a half days to spend it or it goes away'

It may in fact be common----but it's still misleading and actually pi---s off many customers.

Very common in all companies. Customers with the company credit card get the most and attractive benefits. Serves as a key pitch to get people to sign up for the credit card.
