So if they cut 300 from Account Processing does that mean they are actually going to cleanup some of the legacy cores? Examples:
Cleartouch - are we going to see them finally sunset this lump of Unisys hot trash? Keep Signature, Premier and Precision
Legacy CU cores - XP2, CUSA, Reliance, OnCU, Charlotte, CubicsPlus, CUNIFY, Galaxy - This list is not all inclusive but will these cores finally be sunset for Portico, and DNA to be the go forwards.
How about the surround products that these cores made: Virtual Branch, ROBO, LynxGate.
I just hope they don't expect all of these cores to keep going with no staff. It will be interesting. From being in core sales for a long time, I can tell you Fiserv's competitors are going to be jumping all over this layoff and using it to make core sales.
P.S. Hopefully some of the AP leadership was cut as part of the 300.
