Redeem your Best in Us points!
Also if you’re in the pension, read up on your options. If you’re vested you can take it now, or wait until later I believe. Remember if you take it now in a lump sum, for example, that it’s taxable income.
Try to time your last day at the beginning of the month or close to it - then you’ve got the USB insurance until the end of that month and you don’t have to scramble at your new place.
There is an offboarding document on myHR or Workday, start there. Your insurance will run to the last day of the month of your last day, so take that into account when planning yoir 2 weeks, get your appointments in if you hit your deductible and need to tie up loose ends. Your 401k is yours and stays there until you decide to roll it over. HSA $ are always yours, use up your flex spending account - protip: you can spend your your planned annual contribution amount even though you haven't contributed it all. Also, get glasses or contacts if you need them and haven't yet. Dont send yourself docs, tech will track, or at least if you want to, do it before you give notice. Send a goodbye note before you go - always good to leave on a high note and never burn bridges. Congrats and good luck!
Congratulations! I received 2 offer letters for more money, myself. I can't wait to go. I need this information myself.
