Agreed. Changing jobs in a recession is really bad. Better stay put and see what happens at your current company. The worst case scenario is that you get laid off and get a severance package.

Look what happened to OneTrust. They we’re recruiting people that were currently employed offering a much better salary. Once aboard a few month later they laid them off. Be careful s lot of companies like OneTrust out there.

It takes some risk assessment. How big a salary increase? Cost of living in new area.
As the feds raise the interest rate capital investment will slow. Will layoffs follow ??
Do you really think IBM is a long term career?
