Is anyone working from Mexico? I just want to know it is allowed for home office employees.

I totally get it. But how you guys using VPN with company owned laptop. System does not allow using vpn.
You can work from any place in the world, and take a nice vacation at the same time, if you have good connection and VPN...and money of course.
This is why jobs are outsourced, if a U.S. employee can work anywhere such as Mexico, why can't BoA hire a non-U.S. resident, the one based from a third-world country where wages would be 1/3rd of what the U.S. employee make. Enjoy that tequila whike you can.
There are others working in countries other than Mexico and I doubt HR was consulted.
I would suggest that you ask HR. Working in Mexico has tax implications for the bank. People moving to Mexico was partly responsible for return to office (as I head it).
It is tolerated. I have been working from Costa Rica for over a year now. Dont ask, dont tell and VPN…
Formally, no. But let's say it's tolerated at the moment, but depending on the role and manager you have.
