Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

Mediocrity drowns everything of quality

This is nothing new, nor is it unique to TR: generally, the bigger the mediocrity, the faster it climbs the corporate ladders. Is quality here important at all today?

Virtue signaling. That's important.

Quality doesn’t matter to TR. It’s all about “cost cutting” by outsourcing and off shoring. Of course the products are turning into garbage.

Just curious which product you got the new employer to drop.

It's hard to keep quality high when TR keeps laying off employees and expecting those remaining to take on several jobs.

Left TR and got my new employer to drop TR as a customer. Value matters. The competition has superior product and invests in customer service.
