Multi factor authenticator

How comfortable should I be with Optum basically forcing me to place this authenticator on my personal phone? They say it wont have access to my personal info.

Im kind of leery based on the slimy cr-p this place does.

You can set the authenticator to use SMS and then you don't have to install any app on your phone.

I opted for sms.....if unable to do so, your phone doesn't have to have service if it can connect to WiFi.....you can get a $100 or less phone just for that if you don't have an old one.

the corporation appears to demand they install "applications" on your personal phone (unless in CA) to track you, spy on you, audit you, monitor you, evaluate you, etc.etc.etc. that's some "freedom" in the massive mistake. enjoy those greasy hot dogs and other american "food"

We pushed back in it and they said they didn’t have to give us a phone u less we lived in CA so to put it on our phone it was a job req. so glad I’m gone from that shithole now.

NOT putting anyone on my phone. Period. That's a red line, hard NO. The corporation was and is a wasteland of control, abuse, and corruption like america

Yeah, uncomfortable, just say no! If they want to force something on a phone, they have to provide a phone. Period.

You can opt for SMS rather than the app.
