Today was rumored on this board to be a layoff day on a previous comment. Have any layoffs happened today? Anyone know?

Farley doesn’t know the difference between “breaking the internet” and “crashing our server.”
Sure, we are a data and services company.
FYI breaking the internet vault site is fully outsourced. Please avoid making assumptions and assigning blame that internal IT made an error when they were not involved.
Yeah better to write about how CarCar thanked an employee for breaking the internet LOL. Another case of Ford IT infrastructure ineptness being spun as a cool thing to be celebrated in a puff piece. SMH
@2htk - If it doesn't make Ford look good Phoebe ain't gonna say a think about it. Her bias is obvious enough that ya gotta wonder if she has family ties to company.
I know of 1 purchased service person that was released on June 30 and 2 agency that were released July 1. I heard a rumor of some PD people being released on July 1.
Don't forget Old Mexico!!

No reports in detnews or freep?
ITO was hit hard yesterday. Seems like a majority of contractors/agency people were slashed
well it started just caught word a few of my friends who were contract employees in ITO were told their services were no longer needed

Yikes 400 ITO agency. That means the FTE cuts are coming next. LL5 mentioned there was an outsourcing contract being negotiated for some ITO areas—— not great news for FTE.
Get ready for July. India and China are about to get a lot of work from Ford. U.S. Ford employees SOL.
I spoke with someone who was dealing agency heads that were released today in both NA & AP, over a third of his team evidently. They mentioned that they heard there was on the order of 400 cut across ITO. That sounds worthy of a doomsday label to me.
We lost a very competent coworker who was Purchased Service yesterday. Apparently, the LL6 and LL5 were ignored, and the decision to end not renew his contract was made at the LL4 and LL3 level. I've heard some other coworkers on other teams that they lost PS coworkers yesterday as well.
Call it a D-Day, or a mini-Dday, but a lot of people that were working at Ford yesterday are gone today.
Has anyone heard of the use of Full-Service Suppliers (FFS)? A lot of Ford positions will be outsourced to suppliers right here in the Detroit Metro area. So far only a few positions have been cut, however there will be much more.
Same serial doomsday poster.
It’s just the same guy posting random dates to demoralize everyone.
Only rumors are the ones being circulated here...
No rumored or confirmed firings in my area.
