It’s exactly that. After all no one knows what will happen to this acquisition. It should decide myself whether leaving from company or stay here according to what you believe. Don't forget it is anonymous message board.
Well, a lot of people like their current jobs at VMware better than what else is out there. If they are worried about their jobs they having to leave a job they love for a job they don't like as much. So it is not "simple". People are being scared into leaving a job they love based on an uncertainty.
Why people overcomplicate things is beyond me.
