I'm just checking to see if anyone has any info on layoffs. I would like to go on vacation without being in fear of losing my job soon.

Don't be fooled by dozens of new job listings. Sometimes this is resume harvesting for post-layoff hiring.
The company is usually quiet about layoffs. I haven't heard any rumors. There's dozens of new job listings for information technology every day, and colleagues are landing new roles at a pretty good pace
