I stopped expecting any improvement here. Complaining will get me nowhere, so I'm mostly focused on looking for a new job and I hope I'll find it before they lay me off. The problem is that I have been looking for better options for a very long time. There are simply too many people applying for the same positions, the competition is huge and I still haven't managed to get a good offer.

T employees are too complacent and only a small percentage end up with bigger salaries than when they were with T. They're almost forced to stay with T for that reason.
I have tried to leave but stagnated at T too long. I am not getting offers from other companies. It has been really frustrating.
Lots companies don't want old-timers with old skills. They want more workers with experience with newer technology.
Problem with a lot of long-timers is that they don't seem to understand that unless you offer something truly outstanding that your peers don't... you will likely be taking a pay cut to leave any long-time job. You'll get back to where you are, or even higher, but you can't expect a 15+ year salary walking in the door unless you are very special and they need you in a bad way.
No, complaining really works. Don't stop cuz it's gonna get you places. Just be patient.
