Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

We have a long week ahead of us

Layoffs usually don't happen on Mondays, so the fact that we've already started means they need more time than usual to get it done. The number might end up being higher than we originally expected. I think we'll be seeing layoffs throughout the entire week and then some.

If you’re on vacation then you’re probably safe.

A long week is better than a short week.

"Layoffs usually don't happen on Mondays"

Oracle always does layoffs on Mondays, at least in my experience.

Mondays are always best. You have the whole week to reach out and plan. Friday, would be the worst. Less you can do over the weekend. I'm looking now.

No I don't think so. Based on the email managers received this morning about finding new internal roles for people affected by reduction in force I think it will only be 1 wave of layoffs.

Psychologists actually recommend Monday layoffs now. Lower su----e rate, seriously.
