Does anything ever come out of the Talk to Us survey

It seems like managers who get low scores across the board never seem to be reprimanded in any way.

I had the misfortune of joining a team with a terrible manager with zero leadership skill who can only be described as a bumbling id--t. The guy has an effectiveness rating of less than 50%. Team has had 100% turnover for years yet he’s still allowed to be a manager.

Currently looking for jobs because just like most of the useless class, it seems like he’s not going anywhere.

We once slammed our manager in a TTUS survey and we were selected by HR to do random pay raises in the middle of the year. Our team performed exceptionally and won multiple shield awards that year. So yeah something did come out of it and my manager directly related it to the survey.

Former manager. My team’s engagement scores were always pretty high (85%+), but my manager’s were lower (60-70%). Every year I had to ignore what my team needed/wanted for action plans and go with his. Or as he put it “help the rest of my team he as good as yours.”

No. TTUS has zero impact anywhere in the organization to be honest. It makes upper management feel good about itself and that’s it. Skip it.

When TTUS was annual, teams could actually see their data. Now that it's quarterly, people skip it, and more teams falls below the minimum to share data. I haven't seen data in years. Instead, we get comments like, morale is "slightly" down, on intranet articles. It's more than slight, but how could anyone refute that without seeing tangible numbers?

This survey is a joke to management and they don't care.

Short answer: No. Actions speak louder than words.

TTUS and the various derivatives of same currently being used are simply a tool to fool employees into thinking their concerns really matter, they really don't anymore, if real problems are found in the survey, they are covered over with spin and corporate speak

No, nothing is done. I leave some of the manager-related questions blank on purpose.
