Thread regarding 2U Inc. layoffs

Energy level on zero

Let's be honest here...

It's been an extremely challenging 2 years, the pandemic was very emotionally taxing, we all lost someone close to us, living expenses climbing and now this potential head chopping. Can we slow down for like a second so I can catch my breath?!

I know it's corporate and they don't care, I get that but have you seen how drained your colleagues are? How drained you are? How do managers and leads not see this? How are we expected to continue giving our best knowing that this might be the end?

These 2 years have felt like one long a-s year and I don't know about all of you but holy meat ba--s!

Have a great weekend... let's see what next week holds for us

I’m fortunate enough to have a manager who genuinely cares and is in the same boat as the rest of us. I feel bad for all concerned. Advice, if you’re uncertain about your future with 2u, start taking courses on something you care about and is in demand. It’ll help take your mind off this sh/t
