Really not surprised that US Bank would violate their own agreement and not pay the severance on the date they stated they would in the agreement, but how incompetent are these people? If anyone was going to mess this up, it was going to be these a55hats for sure. The language of next scheduled pay date following receipt of the signed agreement seems pretty clear to me, but I am certainly not an attorney. The he-l that they are going to get from people today will be interesting. Why can't these people just do the right thing and execute a plan? Incompetence and lack of care for people.

Bring a lawyer and crush them
Yeah as nefarious as so much of this seems, I don’t think this is. the date of severance agreement signature impacts when it’s paid, based on relationship with “normal” pay periods/direct deposits.
Same - signed on 7/22 and paid out today 8/5.
I signed the severance agreement on 7/22 and received a lump sum via direct deposit this morning.
I signed on 7/27 (should have been sooner but had to call to get the link sent to me) and figured it’ll come on 8/19 but guess we don’t know for sure until 8/17 when the pay stub would show up in Workday.
