I know a lot of folks who are staying at T because they can't find a job that pays as well. I understand that settling for lower pay is not easy, but people need to realize that physical and mental health is more important than any salary. I know people who've been here for years and who are in their forties who look like they're in their fifties or sixties. This company is not worth it.

Just quiet quit and keep your salary. T mgmt is too incompetent to know who is productive or not.

I retired the same day that I achieved the mod rule of 75. The previous 2 years I was being recruited by several companies. After a month off, I started working for a direct competitor and received a huge raise and some actual benefits- 5 weeks vacation, 10 floating holidays, 14 sick days, $350k life insurance, free with no deductible health care for family, car, stock options, country club membership, clothing allowance, free services for family and more. Some of their executives asked me service & planning questions and I helped them as much as I could especially since I refused to sign a non disclosure agreement. I'd like to think I'm a reason that T's stock is in the toilet. I've been with my new company for 15 yrs now and we are now the #1 provider of cellular service.
It’s a good point but as the responder said the bills have to get paid.
I will also say I know many folks who were not healthy, and then retired, and their physical ailments got much better.
For me, two years to have my rule of 75. No plans for 30, I will happily allow anyone else to take on my role in two years. I am already being recruited for employment outside of T. I looked forward to the day of my exit.
I’ll be in much worse mental health if I’m unemployed and unable to pay my bills.
