Yesterday when I pulled into the parking lot another employee was driving out. He gave me the finger.
That's a step in the direction towards collaberation, kind of. At least he acknowledged my existance.
Dude, ever of a break room or a kitchen? Go there and strike up a convo.
I’ve worked in several offices the last few years and they are all equally depressing. Do the right thing and set us free chuckles!!
I'm willing to slightly nod in your direction if we pass in the hall to acknowledge your existence. Given enough time, I will work towards saying "Good Morning" (or just mumbling "morning" so I don't risk you saying "What's so good about it?") but we are a long way from collaborating. :)
“ Have you tried hanging out at the water cooler?”
Hm. Haven’t tried that. Can you tell me where to find it? Is that the same place that all the coffee is?
I’m afraid to collaborate at WF. Not sure if it’s still politically correct. I’m afraid someone might get offended if I say good morning. If I look at someone and say good morning, I’m afraid I’ll get reported for leering.Wait! If I don’t say good morning to everyone, I might get reported to HR for ignoring a colleague.I’m so confused.Safer to continue working from home. RTO could be a bad career move.
Collaboration? Do I look French to you?
Someone said good morning to me today—is this…collaboration? If so, it was awesome. Now I’m going to say good morning to everyone and brighten their days up! Starting with the elevator ride to my cubicle!
I feel ya’
When I was first hired, I reserved a conference room for a meeting and sent out the invites.
I was the only person who bothered to get out of my chair and walk to the conference room; the others stayed at their desks.
Did I mention we were all on the same floor?
Regardless, when WF speaks of 'collaboration', I suspect it is merely one of their many euphemisms for 'control'.
9 years, try 15.
Op I hear you. It’s lonely being in a large building with no one I work with. I worked from home for 9 years.
Any interest in collaborating in a supply closet?
Our cute little cleaning lady showed me how to dump the coffee pods out of our coffee maker. Does that count for collaboration?
You want a friend? Buy a dog...
If I don’t have a business need to talk to you, I’m not going to. My team is spread across multiple states and countries. That is who I collaborate with.
People actually collaborate still? I thought Zoom/Skype took over.
Single, childless girlboss ISO collaboration in the office. No offers refused.
NO! I didn’t like you BEFORE the pandemic and will not cooperate or collaborate!
FRTO. No one in my building has a business need to know, so 'nope'.
My office is full of empty rows, with no one to collaborate with. When I am in the office, my headset works sporadically, making calls worse.
Have you tried hanging out at the water cooler?
Fu-k the office and fu-k Wells Fargo for doing this to us. We won’t forget once the tables turn…
please sir send request to correct box. collaberatino is now resolved with new inbox. send request moving forward.
@PLEASE - Different company, but I know the feeling.
Mostly this is the company's fault because they outsourced so much.
@tough spot's advice seems good - change employers. I'm thinking seriously about that.
You're in a tough spot, apparently, you may want to change employers.
