Pentagon suspends F-35 deliveries after discovering materials from China

"Honeywell remains committed to supplying high-quality products that meet or exceed all customer contract requirements," company spokesperson Adam Kress said in a statement. "We are working closely with DOD and Lockheed Martin to ensure that we continue to achieve those commitments on products Honeywell supplies for use on the F-35."

Honeywell Foreign leadership, low cost approach.

Need US citizen leadership only!

Those who think business and politics aren't connected understand neither.

It's not as if these are the first two "oopsies" that Honeywell's had. Look under the covers. There are plenty more that have been hushed up over the years.

HON should use this as an opportunity to burn down the monstrous past dues on this platform. Sadly, they won’t.

Yeah, I read about the "sanctuary city" mayors of DC, NYC & Chicago screaming about how their cities have now, in their own words, been "turned into border towns" and even demanding that the National Guard be called into action. That, along with spiking crime rates, it is little wonder that 1atinos are flocking to the GOP...

Honeywell has done this twice now. They put sensors in that were made from China. Now they pulled his cr-p. Pentagon a little fine to give him our joke. If they can’t follow he rules, take contracts away from them. Don’t get the idea when they hardly have any work left. If this doesn’t work just don’t do business with them anymore, they always have a excuse why this happened. Bottom line of trying to make more money.

By the way! The FAA has issued protection against safety inspectors. They should have the same policies for military contracts. The Pentagon should follow suit. These contractors for the military are out of control.

Honeywell will sell out the interests of the western world in a heartbeat to make a buck.

@1qwv.
Are you serious? What does congress have to do with Hon business practices? A party that goes for LESS regulation except for what enables them more?

Neither party would have stopped this. Not until the courts hold the company's leadership accountable.

Having a corrupt leader running the party is not the answer.

Neither party should have praises thrown at them but your red hat is a tad bit too tight.

Clueless

Just last week HON's greed and negligence caused the entire US military fleet of Chinook helicopters to be grounded. Now the latest national security breech is the F-35! Will HON's corruption bring down every military system it touches during a time when our foreign enemies are all on a war footing? There will have to be serious investigations launched & actual jail time for those responsible at the top when some sanity is restored to Congress after the midterm power flip...

Honeywell did in fact send ITAR drawings not only to China but to Mexicali. Mexicali doesn’t want to understand the ITAR process. I’ve seen them deny and the twist their understanding of ITAR. DCMA needs to really dig into Honeywell’s process and they’ll be surprised.
