Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

More on RTO

Senior executive coming into town and will meet with employees in the office. Just received an email, less than 24 hours notice. Hey, it would be great if people come in and listen to the executive part his wisdoms and share views on the business.

Some of you might say, just go in, one day out of life is not a big deal. No doubt all mid level management and some people will show up to this networking event. This is the pattern of behavior, how many times have you been directed to plan, over communicate, and don't leave your manager and higher up's with any surprises. It's a two way street, don't expect courtesy when none extended. Best of luck filing the room tomorrow.

Enough kowtowing to senior executives, so what if they have lots of cash and wears a fancy suit, they buy TP at Walmart just like every else during the pandemic. If you really a have hard on to get sh-t done, going to an executive meet and greet is the least productive thing you can do. But hey, don't take my word for it, go and see what yourselves.

If you can't get off your bu-t when a senior exec is coming in to town you deserve to be let go.

The room will be full, you will not be missed.

Although I do agree with it being a waste of time to listen to the BS that a meeting like that would produce, I’m getting tired of people whining about having to go back in the office. You’ve gotten to stay home for two years and not doing s- -t but still getting paid. Some of us have gone in every day and actually had to work unlike some of you whiny britches. Go to work lazy POS, it’s what you get paid to do.

If their lips are moving, they are lying. If their lips are not moving, they are thinking of their next lie.

Same ole, same ole. I'm sure an email would have been more effective. Another fine example of wasted cash. Senior Executives are better left in their office.

No reason to go and listen to a bunch of hot air from some old windbag.
