Feeling terrible, my manger of 1.5 years, best manager I've ever had, been at the company 5 years, doing incredible things for the team and Dell as a whole, gets laid off no warning. Really sad time. I wish him the very best finding a new better role.

Same happened to me, and my managers manager.
This was definitely Canada, DCCS org. Many reps are gutted. Was extremely well-liked and respected in the office - by both direct reports and other leaders. Problem was he rolled up to the US and that makes him expendable. Sad.
