I'm an independent 'contractor' making 250K/year and mostly work from bed too but occasionally I do my work on a chair, sofa and for the right client, on the beach or in front of an audience. My overhead is minimal and I don't report most of my income.
I live in Austin, don't work for Dell but many of their employees are my customers.

Huge salary but can’t afford a nice desk and comfy chair. Also has to work in bed and can’t bring themselves to work more then 20 minutes because of either crippling depression or narcissistic personality disorder or both. But you’re happy, that’s all that matters.

I've worked from a hospital bed.
Enjoy it while you can. Had a light workload, until our "focus" changed and we were suddenly being crushed by a weird project.
