In a move of profound and towering stupidity, feckless management has decided to mothball a perfectly suited and less expensive facility to consolidate personnel into a new, shiny, and more expensive location. The belief that all of us lesser beings will join hands and sing Kumbaya while grabbing lunch in an overpriced cafeteria in a building that resembles an Ikea catalogue is delusional at best. If ever there were a case of reasonable suspicion for dr-g testing it is this.

My advice, take the early retirement if it’s ever offered again. I lucked out and took the offer (the 4th time) after 30yrs of beating my head against the wall. Found a great job in a great company the same week. There are a lot of engineering out there, more than there are engineers. you just have find something that suits you.
And to the guy who asked about the dr-g testing at the tower, it was at least once a month when I retired, and the days were random. They caught people regularly.
Yup, we're moving to the ivory tower as well. I'm guessing it's their failed attempt to make engineering come to the office.
What is the NOV dr-g testing policy?
Surely you’re not calling Holmes Rd perfectly suited.
Which location are you being moved into ? This happens all the time, we were forced to move to Breen and it ki---d our product line. If you are part of CaPS this is the usual senior senile decision.
Oh my...that is the worst ever.
