IBM has decided to offer Medicare advantage plans to all of their retirees thru United healthcare. This is a very large stealth savings. Essentially IBM may off load all of their retiree healthcare costs, to Medicare. That’s one way to off set headwinds.

Probably better managed outside IBM.
Now if IBM was offloading any active programs - then I'd be more concerned (about overt services and bennies vs just managing cash payouts)
