Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Just had our "Team" meeting

We briefly touched on the layoffs without going into any specifics.. SHOCKER..

It was stated that layoffs were done for now... "At least for the next 4-5 months."

I have a hunch more is coming after the holidays. Has anyone had similar meetings with those types of "hints"?

One of my ex colleagues had a call like that with the UK lead of his division, about 2 weeks ago. He was laid off yesterday. So management lied.

I would expect another round in Q1 of next year
