Simply: If you don’t make the hospital money you’re on the chopping block.
There are lay-offs within the hospital and in house IT being terminated. Individuals and offices disappearing over night. The MSPs will be doing their own lay off. The rumor is MSP will turn salaried employees to hourly and cut the associates that are paid higher than average. No plans to hire back.
I remember the golden age when titles were given with good pay. Come to work stress free. That’s no longer the case.
It is a good time to stay under the radar and look at other industries. The next six months will be aggressive closures and terminations.
