Just heard that the attrition in the Permian is 20% year to date in the Permian after losing a high percentage last year. Guess if results are not impact, Corp don’t care

It’s no fun being a service company working with clueless new hires or downstream engineers that have no clue what they are doing. #bringbackXTOemployees

The good news it that is only engineers...Luckily the field people do all the work so no impact on xom except lower costs.

The company has never been known to do things in an unplanned way. This is all part of the 50k headcount target. They’re looking to hit that number first before adjusting as needed.

The goal is still to get to a total global headcount of 50k by end of 2023 to meet cost reduction target and be better positioned for the next rescission which will also likely happen next year!
For those who haven’t already jumped ship, it’s kinda late and they will be stuck and slaved by Exxon’s management (a.k.a. XOM Vampires)

This one of the reasons for the safety incidents.

You're wrong if you think the corp doesn't care - if they can deliver results with 20% fewer heads the corp cares a lot - that's exactly what they want. Next they will try for 40% fewer heads...
