Here are the facts:
Key staff leaving the company especially in GNT, at the leadership level, going to competitors and suppliers.
Dir and ED rotations happening with the assumption that a new person in an old job provides growth (wrong!)
HR span and control reviews underway with shifts in staff orgs
All backfills frozen
Asking for staff ratings (i.e. RIF planning)
Expected RIF by 11/4, roughly 10-12%

Ha ha ha. Knowing English has never been a requirement of being informed. It is a requirement certainly of getting along with all the bigoted anglos out there, but of course we know they don't run the show anymore. America has been full of non-English speaking cultures from the very beginning. Case in point are the 1700s Germans in the US some of whose descendants still could barely speak English into the early 1900s. Yet their current descendants are some of the worst bigots in the Mid-Atlantic states along with the descendants of the Scotch Irish in the South whose ancestors themselves were discriminated against for immigrating, sometimes illegally. Why? Because they were poor.

I am all for proper immigration laws and keeping tight borders. But everyone needs to step back and hate the sin and not the sinner. Tighten the borders but love the people. Do what Jesus would do. But no, everyone is so full of hate until they get to actually know an illegal, then they see they are people too. There are solutions out there but it takes caring hearts. You can guarantee the same people advocating for violence against immigrants, even illegal immigrants, are people who aren't doing it because they care about the country. Rather, they just lash out because they themselves are pieces of cr-p but just take it out on others. They lack the love of God in their hearts, they lack mercy, and while blessed are the merciful, screwed are the unmerciful.

@6fbd+1iRrFxQc, you mean criminals... no one is advocating against legal immigration.

Hundreds of thousands of people cross the border twice a day. They know they're not allowed to stay. Perhaps I should go to the Bahamas, overstay my visa and then demand equal rights. No other country in the world allows this except for the US.

A better system is only possible by starting with enforcement of the current system. Otherwise, who will enforce that better system?

Separately, do you really think that people that don't understand English or America will cast an informed vote? Stay. Free stuff. Vote blue. Red is very bad. So we let them come and vote for the bad politicians to solidify power to continue and expand the bad policies. They are essentially indentured political servants until time, education and their descendants set them free.

And FYI, we need more children than we currently have to replace our aging workforce and tax base, so whether those births come from existing Americans or legal immigrants is fine by me.

Isnt it funny that all of these America first people are descendants themselves from immigrants. All the Irish and German and English and other European surnames. So many Europeans had less than glorious family stories. Like their people weren't living like hogs in Ireland or brought across from Germany as indentured servants or from England as prisoners or sneaking into the country like some Italians and others. We came to America, saw we liked it and just took over. Each succeeding generation of immigrants wants to keep it for themselves forgetting in the process that they are immigrants themselves. Oh the hypocrisy. By all means keep out the Mexicans even though we took their land from them too. Definitely keep out the Asian because they are just different and are a threat because then we will have to work harder to compete.

Some of us used outhouses til into our teens. In America. Yet here we are management with graduate degrees making 6 figures, swimming pools, cars, married to hotties, great law-abiding kids. Life is good.

Yet all these bigots out there would have you think that a disadvantaged kid is screwed. Just because he or she was not "fortunate" enough to grow up in a fancy middle class suburb that somehow we are unworthy of any sort of success or reward for our efforts. Just because someone may have used open latrines in a foreign country where they came from makes them unworthy? Sure bud, tell that to your own immigrant ancestors whose efforts gave you what you have, an advantage many of us didn't have. But of course some of us found a way around so we could succeed anyway.

Fact - Once you are at a certain level, getting to the next level here is near impossible, so people are leaving because they know they've reach as far they can. there are better jobs out there - so they go.

Rotations? - not seeing it. They can barely backfill the positions they do have.

RIF - OF COURSE!! Hans is tanking our stock, but the employees will pay that price. For once, a RIF should be limited to Director and above - no way in he-l a Dir should only have a total of 5 people in their org!!
